Product Description

Aerecura (also found as Erecura, Herecura or Eracura) is a Celtic goddess worshipped in ancient times, mostly represented with the attributes of Proserpina. In addition to her chthonic elements, she is often depicted with attributes of fertility, as the cornucopia and with apple baskets. Noémie Beck characterizes her as a "land-goddess" having both underworld and fertility aspects. Representations of Aerecura are most commonly found in the Danubian area of Southern Germany and Slovenia, but they also occur in Italy, Great Britain, and France. Her inscriptions are concentrated in Stuttgart and along the Rhine. The theonym is of unclear origin. It has been connected with Latin aes, aeris 'copper, bronze, money, wealth', era 'mistress' and the name of the Greek goddess Hera.

In honor of this mysterious ancient ancestral goddess, shimmer dusted blossoming peachy pink AERECURA Ancient Mother Goddess Old European "Celtic Lights"™ Pillar Candle master crafted by WITCHCRAFTS ARTISAN ALCHEMY® is infused with bloodline tydor by this witch of old world Danubian ancestry. Generously scented with a spring fresh blend of blooming floral Freesia and fruity Apricots, softly sweet yet deeply powerful AERECURA is adorned with a bronze flower charm hung on hand dyed Wild Blooms fabric ribbon.

Candle measures approximately 2x3 inches.
