It is truly an electrifying intellectual, emotional and paradigm-shifting experience to compare the graphical symbols found in prehistoric caves of Old Europe to Proto-Canaanite, Phoenician, early Greek, early Monumental Latin and Modern English. The Old European cave symbols may indeed be the oldest root of the European, Semitic and Indian alphabetic ancestral tree.
The table shows early alphabets side by side with some of the 32 graphical symbols of communication found in caves of Old Europe. Presently dated to at least 30,000 to 40,000 years old, the Old European symbols (used by European Cro-Magnon Homo sapiens and possibly by European Neanderthals as well) far predate Sumerian, Egyptian or Phoenician civilizations and symbols of communication. The similarities of the Old European symbols to the recognized alphabets of antiquity are simply astounding!
